Isaac Is Coming
This word has been in my spirit for over a week now and I cannot shake it. What I hear the Lord saying is that Ishmael is the product of Impatient flesh, it will produce an inadequate blessing, a partial and mediocre semblence of what desires for us to have...But Isaac is coming...Isaac is the promise of God, the one with whom God desires to make covenant with, the one who will inherit the full blessing...the promised one. I mentioned this tonight at church at the end of my sermon...our Bishop's wife told me after church that while she was praying today the Lord told her not to settle for Ishmael. Think we might be hearing something?

It's a good word. It's too easy to settle for Ishmael... I can think of serveal examples in my life where I have settled... even tempted to do so currently... so this speaks to me!

It is amazing to me how God is sending out this word to his people. This is the 4th time I have heard this said in the past week. It seems like God is speaking a Word into the Body in a way I have never witnessed before. Everywhere I turn, I am hearing a central theme preached and taught. God is obviously trying to get something into our spirits as a collective body!

Does this mean I have to send Neil chocolates too?

Yes Sarah, and I like dark chocolate, I'm really into Dove and Godiva...dark chocolate is good for your heart you know!

So if Isaac doesn't come, at least I'll have something to eat...but he's coming!

Good word- sometimes I get a little weary waiting for Isaac, but I know that it will be much better than jumping out there and birthing an Ishmael.

Thanks for the encouragment!

This is the word I have been hearing as well. There is definately a transition taking place.

Neil, that chocolate has caffeine in it?

PCG,

I wish someone would have told me about process 27 years ago when I first started, but then I was young, energetic and out to win the world and wouldn't have listened. You're right, we often fail to wait and push ourselves out there and create things we don't want to live with. Never forget, you have to raise what you birth, you are responsible for it, even if you have nothing to do with it...there is a soul tie that identifies you with your child. I appreciate your insight.

Yes, Deborha, there is caffine in that chocolate, but I can have it before 6:00 PM! There's caffine in vanilla also and I love it in coffee more than I love chocolate anytime!
